Special Sales
Sponsored and staffed by The Friends of the Milwaukee Public Library volunteers, the very popular quarterly Book Sales feature thousands of books marked down to bargain prices. The book sales are always an exciting event typified by the—ahem—enthusiasm of the participants!
Dive into Summer Reading at the Friends of MPL Used Book Sale. The two-day sale will be held on Friday, June 12, from 1pm-4pm and Saturday, June 13, from 9am-4pm in the Rotary Community Room on the first floor at Central Library.
Used adult hardbacks will be $1, adult softcovers/paperbacks 2/$1, and Kids and Young Adult Books 4/$1.
While you’re there, stop by The Bookseller across the hall from the Rotary Community Room for more book bargains, vintage sets and recent releases, “Little Free Library boxes and bags” grab bags and book bundles, CDs and DVDs, magazines, cards and more. There’s no better time to stock up!
All proceeds benefit the Milwaukee Public Library.
