Sponsored and staffed by The Friends of the Milwaukee Public Library volunteers, the very popular quarterly Book Sales feature thousands of books marked down to bargain prices. The book sales are always an exciting event typified by the—ahem—enthusiasm of the participants!

Mark your calendars now for the Summer 2024 Friends of MPL Used Book Sale on Friday, June 7 (1pm-4pm) and Saturday, June 8 (9am-4pm) in the Rotary Community Room at Central Library. Explore thousands of used books for all ages – fiction, nonfiction, foreign language, and kids/teens books galore. Prices: Adult hardbacks $1, adult softcovers 2/$1, Kids/Young Adult Books 4/$1. Visit the Bookseller across the hall for more cool bargains like $5 Little Free Library boxes and lots of summer surprises. See you there!
