2024 BOOK SALES
Sponsored and staffed by The Friends of the Milwaukee Public Library volunteers, the very popular quarterly Book Sales feature thousands of books marked down to bargain prices. The book sales are always an exciting event typified by the—ahem—enthusiasm of the participants!
Mark your calendars now for the Spring 2025 Friends of MPL Used Book Sale. Thousands of books will be waiting for you to browse: books for kids, tweens and teens plus fiction and nonfiction for adults.
The two-day sale will be held on Friday March 7 from 1pm-4pm and Saturday March 8 from 9am-4pm in the Rotary Community Room on the first floor at Central Library.
Used adult hardbacks will be $1, adult softcovers/paperbacks 2/$1, and Kids and Young Adult Books 4/$1.
While you’re there, stop by The Bookseller across the hall from the Rotary Community Room for more new and used book bargains, great deals on media and magazines, and $5 pre-packed ready-to-go “Little Free Library boxes” for filling your own or neighbors’ Little Free Libraries.
